Excellent value at 9 euros. Typical 2014 - crisp, fresh, acidic, just what I like. Raspberries and redcurrants dominate the nose and palate. It doesn't have the class of the better 2014s, but at this price, why would it? I don't think there's any reason to hurry, but I doubt it'll improve further.

Consistent with previous note. I do think that this is slightly over the hill, another 5 years should be no problem.

A favourite Cab Franc of mine over the years - I still have the '76 in my cellar! 2 bottles 90min aerated decant together. Dry spice, some green bell pepper and a core of ripe red hedge fruits and black cherry. The fruit became more prominent as time passed reaching perfect balance after 3 hours (excellent late night sipping!). Good length. Will hold my remaining bottles till '26. Window 2026-2031?+. 91+pts

Medium ruby color. It smells fresh and not tired. red fruit with vegetal influence, earthy. medium body and still some tannin left, . The finish has little sour, mushroom taste, not my favorite finish but can go well with food.

Starting to mature beautifully. Very drinkable, drying out slightly but with good fruit and balance.

Slow ox for one hour. Notes of cranberry, cherry, bell pepper and black pepper. Light, transparent with limited tannin. This is a solid early drinker but the fruit feels a little too reticent. Hard to tell whether this is going to get better with time or dry out. Have a few more bottle so will try another a little while.

This bottle took an hour decanted to really blossom and shine. Light bodied and bright coloured with some bricking at the edge. This really has a great balance of savoury development and fresh fruit, lovely cleansing acidity makes for a mouthwatering finish. On this bottle there’s a fair life ahead it it

Cork pretty much soaked through and a little delicate to extract, this wine was singing from the start, perfectly ripe black currant fruit with a green leafy edge, unsurprisingly fully resolved and ready, fresh and clean tasting with good length on the finish, text book Loire cab franc

Pale garnet with a lovely floral, aged nose of sweet cherry fruit, leather and woody herbs. The entry is bright and sweet with a kiss of ripe fruits, but after that, very short and lacking any depth or length of finish.
