Completely wasted on a guest who "loved' Chardonnay and then didn't drink it.

For me this was way over oaked to the point of being undrinkable. It opened up over time and was better the next day but man that is some buttery Chard.

Richly golden in color with juicy ripe aromas. Full, luscious, and mellow on acidity this one goes a long way on flavor producing images of plump pears and mild tropicals with lemon and vanilla bean undertones. The finish goes on and on. A decadent specimen.

Wow. That was one of the best Chards we've had in a long time. Citrus, toasted nuts and a wonderfully long finish. Drank this bottle now to answer their survey, we'll save the others for a few years to let things settle and carmelize. Haven't had this much fun since our last bottle of HdV. Now I've got to find more.

Green apple, lemon. Citrusy. Nice finish, slight buttery, honey notes. Will get better.

Double OL (Squires and WCWN) Dinner (Tra Vigne Restaurant, St. Helena, California) : Lovely floral nose initially changed to more of a banana nose after 15 minutes in glass; tasty, tart, sweet lemon palate with well-integrated oak, good definition and acidity; medium finish 92+ pts.
