Great wine! Pitty that this my last bottle! Great Confurom. Nice smell, great lovely perfumed finish

2008 vintage

(16,5/20) Feels younger than its age suggests, bit closed even still. Strict style, complex and mineral. Medium intense aromas of red cherry, cranberry, raspberry, violet, tobacco, leather, liquorice wood, black tea, white pepper, wet stone. Dry wine, high acidity, medium- and strict tannins, medium- body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 12,5% ABV - Pinot tasting @ Wijnbar Pinot

Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Summer tasting (Asperg) : Tasted blind. Clear, medium ruby color. Nose easily identifiable as Pinot. Some herbs, some lactic notes, fine red fruit, very rustic. On the palate dense, deep and spicy. Nice ripe fruit, medium acidity and high, a bit drying tannin. Lots of harsh notes from stems. A bit rough and edgy. 12,5%. Don’t know, how this will age. The tannin needs another decade, but what will happen with the fruit? 86-88

2005 vintage

Deep garnet red with brick rim. Intense nose that starts off floral and with what many sum up with ‚asian spice‘ (to me, this is closest to ginger), below this, is ripe but crunchy forrest berries. In the mouth, medium plus body, dusty tannins, still a bit firm; while this has very good concentration, it also has great freshness. The length is fantastic; each sip lingers in the mouth for ten minutes and more.

Obwohl "nur" Lage Village ist das Ding nach 10 Jahren immer noch zugenagelt. Auf die Seite legen und in 3 bis 5 Jahren nochmals probieren. Hat aber sehr gute Zukunft 90++/100 ab 2019. Although "only" Location Village is still nailed the thing after 10 years. Put aside and try in 3 to 5 years again. But has very good future 90 ++ / 100 from of 2019.

2005 Village Burgundy (Quality Chop House, Farringdon, London) : Accomplished, pure fruited nose, strawberry, touch of vanilla, florals. Slight savoury edge on palate. ****

forget about whether it is a village or not...this is my 6th bottle of this vintage, and by far the best. well balanced, some fruit, some minerals. i like it a lot. and looking forward to the next six bottles...

Intense cherry red with ruby rim. Medium plus intensive nose of hay, high toned berries and spices (sth that reminds me of frangipani or dried ginger). In the mouth medium bodied, great balance, great freshness; silky tannins. Excellent length. Can't ask more from a village Vosne.

Inimitable and delicious Vosne-Romanée bouquet of red earth and Asian spice, red and black fruits, hint of oak, some stems, good depth; on the palate silky, well-balanced, fresh, elegant, sweet fruit flavours, slightly grippy but velvety tannins; very good length, hint of tea. Drink now - 2020.

Satiny, Asian spices, red earth, intense but light, excellent sweet fruit, very finely tuned bitters, lovely length.
