Kamiak Rock Lake Red

Not very complex. Maybe young yet

I'm going to have to disagree with the crowd on this one. This is a very nice blend from the folks at Gordon Brothers. Light on its feet with enough structure to make this a great find at $14. Good fruit, spice and cedar notes to give this a nice mouth feel. Great everyday food wine.

Surprised by the low score. A solid if unspectacular WA red blend. As the previous reviewer said, the nose and palate are a bit floral, and red cherry is the dominant flavor. The wine seemed a little tight and could probably use a bit more time.

Floral nose of violets with cherries. Texture is very good for the price. Tannins were well integrated. Silky texture, full-bodied cab.

Good buy! Velvety nose. Dark vibrant purples & deep reds. Smooth, concentrated flavors, finish of pepper. Medium finish. Flavor blossoms in mouth.

This wine was a true Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde. I had been told to try it by a wine sales person when I indicated that I thought Apothic red was very good but would like it less sweet on the tongue -- now to the review. On day 1 it was to me monstrously BAD. A nice dark plum-rose color gave no hint of the experience. The nose seemed a bit earthy and short on fruit, but seemed ok. …

- Crimsom color with medium forming legs. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Juicy texture with a medium finish - Very good. Nice soft finish. Full body and deep color. Leaves a little alcohol on pallet but soft. Soft overall linger.

Perfume nose. Crushed cherry taste. Better than expected for the price.
