The Little Penguin, Cabernet Sauvignon, South Eastern Australia

Nose: Blueberries and raspberries, slight oak and some heat. Palate: Red fruits, slight oak and a very faint earth note with a slight minerality. Medium Ruby. Dry but has a slight sweetness to it with low, soft tannins. Medium body with medium acidity. Short to decent finish of about 3-4 seconds. Give it about 30-45 minutes to breathe and some of the harshness goes away. Smooth, juicy fruitiness. Lacks some structure and length but great quality to price ratio.
