Solid Chardonnay that has teh right amount of fruit vs acidity. Good with food or withougt. Nice vanilla undertones.

Retail $50. Heavy Bottle (604g; 21.2oz). Under Cork. I bought three bottles of this wine on a bit of a flyer, but I was exited to try this near-iconic brand. And. It. Was. Corked. Hopefully, Wineslash will do the right thing and at least credit me? But who knows? It is a new world order out there where no one gives two cents about anyone else... www.thedrunkencyclist.com

Drinking fairly well at seven years, but not as intense and robust as expected. Bright, clear, pale gold color. Medium plus aromas and flavors featuring mixed yellow orchard fruits, light creamy butter, and chalky white minerals. Rich and smooth in the mouth, but I sense the acidity is starting to fade. Slightly disappointing. Not as good as the 2016. More oak than a typical Patz & Hall Chardonnay.

Floral nose with mixed citrus. Dry crisp and buttery. Lovely

Master the World Blind Tasting Kit 115A (Feb) : Tasted and noted double blind. Pale gold color. Earthy, pity aromas - soil, rocks, zesty stone fruit, hints of citrus and spices. Richly textured palate with ripe stone and tree fruit, round secondary depth, lifting acidity and solid depth on the finish. I guessed Central Coast white Rhone-style blend. I tend to taste more citrusy and zesty Chardonnay. The ripeness and stone/tree fruit and spice/earth threw me off. Very interesting reveal.
