Extremely aromatic wine however the floral aromas seem to mask everything else making the wine single note

Agree with most of the notes on here. My favorite summer wine this year in terms of drinkability. Very Floral. My g-d. Like smelling a beautiful flower bed. Crisp but not sharp on the palate with a lot of citrus and some minerality coming through. Eminently drinkable.

One of my favorite Torrents, always good. Great summer wine, floral, crisp, refreshing. Citrus, herbal, mineral and some saline notes.

Friday night dinner wine for Kathy at Yan's China Bistro, very floral like a bouquet of spring flowers-the wine's best feature-nose of lemon, honey, apricot, and wet stones, same on the palate, good acid, very tasty, delicious with the prawn lettuce wraps, hint of sweetness on the palate, light/medium body, tasty mouth filling fruit, and a medium/long finish.

Saturday night dinner at Flemings, Walnut Creek. paired with the Fleming's salad, very aromatic nose of lemon, dried tea leaves, citrus, and honey, on the palate, the acid complimented the salad, very tasty and refreshing, slightly sweet fruit, light/medium body, fairly mouth filling fruit, medium/long finish. Note every night Fleming's provides a complimentary white and red wine to taste. If you buy one of the two by the bottle, the price is 50% off list. My wife bought 3 bottles …

Capsicum and grassy nose with good intensity. Viscous, almost oily and spicy on the palate with a few grams of rs. Good, but could be drier.

An enticing mix of floral, orange/lemon citrus, and tea/fennel herbal notes on the nose. The palate is less rich than the nose, nice and dry with a decent shot of acidity. Really nice stuff for a reasonable price.

This wine smelled super floral. It tasted both very rosy and lemony. It was very interesting and I would definitely purchase again!

I love the nose on this, so sweetly floral and powerful with notes of canned pineapple and lemon peel. The palate is full of super-ripe, sweet tropical fruits and floral, lavender and gardenia notes but it is a dry wine. A medium body and medium to long finish make this a very enjoyable wine.

Tasted blind. Clear, straw with some green hues. The nose is clean, youthful, medium (+) to pronounced in intensity and complex, with aromas of golden apple, lemon, tangerine, ripe peach, honeysuckle, peach blossom, and some pineapple. The palate is dry, but graced by both tart and ripe sweet fruit and slight phenolic bitterness on the finish. The fruit is nicely balanced by medium (+) acidity and medium alcohol (13.5%). The body, flavor intensity and length are all medium. The floral …

Dinner at Home (Fremont, CA) : Pale lemon color; very aromatic with gobs of fruit, tropical, mango, lychee, lemon, floral, very complex; palate is light bodied, medium to medium-plus acidity, dry, less fruit on the palate than on the nose but some lemon-flavored tea; short-medium finish. I'm starting to think that torrontes is an excellent value play: wonderful aromatics and fresh acidity make it a wonderful aperitif and about 100x better than pinot grigio at a cheaper price. 89-90

Megamoon Part VI: Salta (Argentina); 11/5/2015-11/9/2015 (Cafayate, Molinos, Cachi, and Salta) : This underwent cold maturation and fermentation. Again the grassiness is most prevalent here in the beginning, hints of floral, crisp, good acidity. With some time the nose becomes almost pure honey in a glass, but the wine is decidedly dry and there is a clear commitment to keep it that way. Enjoyable.

Fleming's 100 Tasting Event 2015. A real value for about $11 is this wine with hints of lemon, Earl Grey Tea seeping, allspice, and a touch of dried orange, more of the same on the palate, light bodied, delicious but would prefer more fruit in the glass, nice finish.

From Salta, Argentina. Highest AVA in world. Valle Calchaqui. Low Intensity with light almost orange tinge. Sharp floral nose of roses and citrus. Floral rounded mouthfeel with citrus of grapefruit. Smooth medium finish, refreshing and acidic floral wine great with spicy asian food.

Flinty with a touch of lemon zest and honeysuckle...until we started into the Nepalese curries. By the end of the meal it tasted curiously sweet like a chenin blanc without a hint of acidity. Decent pairing.

This wine has an extremely aromatic nose, with medium plus to pronounced honeysuckle, peach blossom, citrus and sweet spice. The palate, however, is dry, with medium plus acidity. Citrus flavors predominate, with minerality on the finish. The body, flavor intensity and lenght are all medium. Unoaked, this is made in a fresh and clean style and is not intended for ageing. From grapes grown at altitudes of over 5000 feet, this is a very good exemplar of its kind.

Assertive aromas of flowers (roses? violets?) Interesting palate, which the label describes as spicy but I perceive as...salty. With gewurtztraminer notes. Which I suppose are spicy...ginger, cinnamon. Very interesting.

O Torrontés é uma festa de olores: pêssego, abacaxi. Bem melhor do que o sabor, enjoativo no final. Bem menos bom do que o Yacochuia.

If you love off-dry, ultra-aromatic whites, this is your wine. Explosive nose with roses, wild flowers, lychee, grape juice and some citrus scents. Med-full bodied with noticeable sweetness (off-dry) rich fruit and sufficient acidity. Long aftertaste. A good alternative to a gewurztraminer. Should be great with Asian cuisine.
