Very good. Light red in color with a liquify texture and no real legs to speak of. Interesting. First German Pinot.

Translucent crimson in color, this wine revealed muted notes of tart cherry, spices and smoke on the nose. The mouth feel was very light bodied with more cherry and subtle mineral elements. The finish was short with subtle acidity holding the soft red fruits together in a soft, feminine way. 12.5% abv. A delightful German Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir to the rest of the world). It's light and unique, not deep with character but fun to drink and hard to find in the states.
