Recent auction find at a rock bottom bid. PnP. A really delightful PS. The labels were mangled but the wine was pristine with little seepage into the upper portion of the cork. Blackberries, leather, black tea. What a delightful 26 yrs old wine

OMG!! This was simply a stunning bottle of wine and easily the best Petite that has ever passed my lips. The color is a deep purple almost black with pretty bricking at the rim. The nose is a melange of flowers, currant, coffee, cocoa & pepper. The palate is a extremely balanced with currant, red cherry, a kiss of leather, spice, coffee/cocoa, caramel & creamy tannins with a finish that lingers with more currant/red cherry and a kiss of pepper. …
