Cantina Fratelli Pardi Montefalco Sagrantino Passito

This is a very intriguing dessert wine made with air-dried, raisinated grapes. It is deep ruby in color. It is medium-sweet, yet it has medium (+) grippy tannins and a generous, naturally-fermented, 13.5% alcohol. The nose is complex and aromatic, with black cherry, prunes, dried herbs, dark chocolate, sweet caramel, sweet baking spices.
