Podere Santa Maria (Colleoni) Rosso di Montalcino

Not much to add to my note below. Affordable brilliance. Cleansing, fresh, red fruited, savoury. With wagyu meatballs and pasta it was perfect.

Bright, alive, crisp red fruit, a little bit of earth, pleasant grip from the tannins and good acidity keeping everything fresh. At this price point i really wouldn't want anything more from a wine. When the Colleoni wines are in good shape, they are brilliant.

Excellent Rosso. Very soft, some cherry notes on the nose and palate. Mild tannins.
