Pleasant enough, deep and dark color and nice round fruit, but neither complex nor ageworthy. Good QPR. Per winery: "90% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc. Light crisp strawberry flavors, wonderful mouth feel, balanced acidity [all of which I agree with], followed by complex notes from the Bordeaux blend" [which I did not find]. “Best Sangiovese, Double Gold”, San Francisco Int. Wine Competition.
