Loads of tobacco leaf, spice, and smoke (good smoke) here with red and blue fruits in the background. Still loads of structure. A touch hot on the alcohol but really a stunning wine.

Nose of bright red fruit and oak spice. Tastes of tart red currant, cherry, blackberry and oak spice. Med+ acidity. Medium but persistent tannins. I think this will improve in bottle--definitely requires air before drinking. Enjoyed with grilled steak at Susan's.

Holy moly, this is so good. It’s my fifth stay-at-home Saturday, I needed a treat to cure my blues, and this is exactly what the doctor ordered. The smell is red berries, dark flowers and Napa brambles. The finish is divine and long, first sour cherry, then subtle tannin and oak, and then normal cherry. I don’t have the wine vocabulary to describe this better - it’s just wonderful to drink though.

Vintners' Estate Tasting, Nose of black cherry, black berry, same on the palate, lovely fruit, rich fruit, needs 3 years to peak, subdued fruit, great on the mid palate, flavorful finish and aftertaste.
