nice surprise this Barbera from Martini who bought the Gianni Voerzio wineyard. Still youthful, it is really juicy with a lot of ripe red plums and blackberries with some elegant and very light notes of ink, wood and dark chocolate. The ensemble is truly enjoyable and yummy, not too complex but straight and sincere. I tasted it four years ago and this cellar time has made its job!
