From 750ml. 1971 Marchesi Di Barolo Grignolino. PnP. Cork was halfway soaked with tight seal. Good sign so far. Medium tawny colour. Nose was unyielding at the start, too much forest floor funk that had me worried it was a bad bottle. Cautiously took a small sip, barely a trace of fruit but surprisingly drinkable.
