Medium purple wine with medium minus-intensity aromas of blackberry, raspberry, oak, dried herbs, smoke, vanilla, and a hint of black pepper. Medium flavours of blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, and smoke. Medium plus acidity with soft tannins and medium finish. This has the typical California profile but holds back just enough to enjoy especially with burgers.

Not much different from the regular Josh Line and certainly not a "RESERVE" wine. New Vintage lacks depth and flavors usually associated with a price north of $15.00. Seemed like a rush to get this bottled maybe it will get better with some time but for now it was just OK.
