La Paulée Verticals Tasting (Rainbow Room NYC) : My first experience with an Alex Gambal wine and it was a good one. Nice classic white Burgundy. Rich and lengthy on the finish.

La Paulee de NY - Verticals Tasting (Rainbow Room - NYC) : Tasted at large walkaround tasting. From magnum. Ripe green apple, pear, nutmeg, chalk. Nice minerality on finish. Pleasant surprise

Happy to open this bottle. At a great place now. Loved the acidity on this wine, which means lots of life left. Will revist 2018.

Last bottle; good to the last drop! Wish I had bought even more than I did

I took this to an offline in Greensboro, NC. On first opening this, it seemed mildly aromatic, delicate and ready to drink. It was a pale color with maybe some crisp apple notes on the nose and palate. The host returned to it later in the evening as we had not finished the bottle, and he remarked on its improvement so I poured another couple ounces. It was a revelation. It seemed much more round and showed more depth and …

Poured at our wine group dinner at Le Provencal. Loved this way; a lucky buy from Checkers, where I happened to spot five bottles sitting behind some other burgundies on the shelf. Well received by everyone at the dinner, although most thought it was a Cali chard. Glad I grabbed it all from the shelf; this is a great value that can be popped and poured for any occasion. Will definitely be keeping an eye put for more

Double Blind Wine Dinner @ Le Provençal (Le Provencal, Miracle Mile, Coral Gables,FL) : The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are slow. It smells like lemon, orange, oak, peach blossom and hazelnut. It tastes like mineral. The body is full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity. Bob's White.

Love this. Rich golden wheat colour in the glass. Lemongrass, a bit of wood smoke and minerals on the nose. Luxurious mouth feel. Deep and wide flavours. Lemon and lime, grapefruit, juicy tart green apple, toast and butter, and minerals. Excellent balance between the lush sweetness and the tart acidity. Long finish with lingering lemongrass.

Solid 90 for this one. Good spice and citrus on the nose. The palate is fleshy- mouth filling with a mixture of sweet apple and citrus, and a creamy finish. The woodwork is not oppressive, takes nothing away from the fruit. This wine isn't hyper focused or overly complex but it delivers very well, and the price point is competitive. Would and did buy again.

This is gorgeous. Rich yet perfectly balanced. A whiff of oak and flowers on the nose - this certainly has a fair amount of wood, but it is definitely not over-the-top. Excellent weight and precision. Very focused palate with notes of guava, white fruits, cedar and grapefruit. A verve of minerality on the long finish. This will benefit from more time in the cellar, but is drinking fantastically today with a couple of hours of air. Fantastic effort for the …
