14.5% abv. Recent auction purchase. A decent drink, but this bottle is clearly well into the downslope of its maturity. Seems to be drying out, with fading fruit and a frame of oak and oak tannin. If scoring, 86 - 88.

Oxidized and pruny. Clearly over the hill. Dumped down drain.

Quite excellent actually. Hits all the notes you expect a mature Cabernet to hit. Leans darker on the fruit/berry spectrum. Sensuous tannins and a spark of freshness still. Very sad this is my last bottle.

This bottle, to my surprise, drank beautifully! Tasted of still young, vibrant fruit. Classic Bordeaux blend that everyone enjoyed.

This bottle had more to offer than bottles from the same case I've consumed in the last few years. Was happily surprised. Maybe the previous were bottle variation.

Last bottle from a 1/2 case, and sorry to see these go. A very nice WA State Brdx blend that comes across more like a good New World Cab (read, not over the top). Still in its prime drinking window, with a few more years to go. But, this certainly won't get any better, so no need to wait on these. Nice blend of fruit, tertiary flavors, round tannins, and punchy acidity. Good by itself or with food. What's not …

I agree with the previous review. Solid wine that is delicious and drinking very well right now. After decanting about an hour, I'm liking this more and more with each sip. Unlike a few other reviews, I don't see this as over-the-hill; it's still fresh, with lots of acidity and round tannins. This particular bottle, at least, could have gone another 5 years...easy.

I still enjoy this wine but feel any structure or tannins have completely left. Kind of fat, flabby and stewed fruit. The case I received has been properly cellared since I took delivery in early 2018.

Probably a year too late but still quietly lovely with prim rib.

Simple but decent. Still has some time. I’ll wait a bit for the next bottle.

Delicious - really nice. Well balanced and tasty with some currant, black cherry, mint, earthy notes. Complex, well balanced and with a super long finish. For the money ($20) crazy value and drinking great.

Nice $20 bottle. Ripe fruit, sweet tannins, well integrated, fairly rich but good energy, nice pairing with a simple grilled t-bone. This benefited from a short decant as it was a bit "simple" on PnP. Drink or hold.

ruddy crimson with a browning edge. rich aromas full of tertiary earthy notes and ripe fruit. alcohol aroma. Mouth filling, delicious ripe fruit and subtle tannins. Not as syrupy as the smell implied. Good stuff, drinking good now.

This is the first bottle in a case that I haven't been over the moon about. Hopefully it's just me or bottle variation. Felt tired, flabby and one dimensional. The previous bottle I had in September was spectacular. I'll revisit soon and hope for the best.

Juicy blackberry and black currant and a hint of chocolate on the nose. More juicy black fruits on the palate. Moderately high acid and plenty of tannic grip. Good typicity and concentration but the flavors are rather generic. Primary even though it’s 10 years old. Taste again in five.

Ripe, but concentrated and firm. Opaque dark colour with just a tinge of brick on the rim. Intense ripe nose, loads of flavor on the palate with dark currant, cherry and dark plum fruit. Loads of zingy acidity over some medium tannins. This tastes much younger than the years - obviously a really well made wine. Really excellent.

Consistent with others' tasting notes. Black currant and plum, excellent fruit and balance. Decanted for 30 minutes and strained for some moderate sediment.

Pleasant nose on night 1. Dark fruit, currant on the palate, consistent with others’ notes below. This wine was much better on day 1. On day 2, the fruit diminished and the wine developed a persistent, somewhat bitter finish that went beyond minerality or earthiness. By no means bad on day 2, however. Simply personal preference. Easy solution: Drink the entire bottle by yourself in one night and call into work with a cold the next day. 90 points on …
