Showing beautifully - lovely nose, sweet fruit, dried herbs, some iron/soy notes, tobacco leaf, resolved tannins - balance, depth - very nice indeed.

Bright ruby color, no browning on the edges. Nice, but perhaps fading flavor. Plenty of nose on opening. Moderate sediment. Drink now. Great value at The Modern, NY $125

A very great bottle of Barolo! Feminin and elegant, not a muscular wine. Sadly not to long taste, but still, a great wine! On the peak now.

Wide orange rim shows this wines age. Nice complex nose kind of fruity with a bit of mint and a touch of burnt rubber. Nicely balanced with a little tannins on the end. Fully mature. Nice.

91+ Pts. Very young and enjoyable 14 year old! Barolo. Fresh red cherry scent that was there as soon as the bottle opened. Bright fruit that work well into a dusty finish. Licorish flavors that go on for 2-3 minutes. Not a great vintage, but at this age the harsh tannins of the youth have resolved. This was very enjoyable, with rich red and black fruits. Drink over the next 5 years...AMM
