With roast beef. Medium ruby, a touch of purple at the meniscus. Moderate nose, fairly generic but pleasant enough. Muted acid and tannin. Worked well with the roast. Quite decent for the price.

Served on EVA Air. 100% Malbec. Intense floral nose with hint of woods. Sweet and smooth on the attack. Some tannins on the mid-palate, a touch dryness. Long lingering finish with some bitter chocolate at backend. Just a touch warmth at finish, pretty good balance. Woods lingering on the palate, hopefully will be integrated in due course. 86-88 pts

Pencil shavings, purple flowers, plum. juicy but dry, hint of deli meat. Nice plum. Easy drinking, but not sure I love the profile.
