Great wine. Big fan and attainable at a price point where you can drink on an any random occasion. Medium-light bodied, medium tannin, beautiful, small red fruits on the nose and palate (major strawberry and some cranberry). Notes of crushed stone, earth, and maybe a hint of graphite. Savory on the palate. Very fragrant nose Best served on the slightly cooler side, maybe 50 -55 Fahrenheit. What can you say? A beautiful wine, fairly priced, pleasant and easy to drink. …

Quite pleasant. Earthy, lots of red fruit, medium body, soft tannins. Good value for retail of HK$300. Paid $780 retail at a restaurant

There is something about nerello that just screams, "I'm from the side of a volcano in Sicily." A kind of ashy/earthy character that mixes in with the tart red fruit, blood orange, star anise, savoury herbs and florals. The palate feels juicy, fresh and crunchy. Plenty of depth too. A pretty solid entry level effort. Much better with an hour or so to breathe.

Pale red ruby. Pronounced sweet red berry aroma. Strawberry, cherry, redcurrant. Violet, rose. No oak on the nose, very subtle on the palate...? A bit barnyard. Modest unami like flavor. Med+ acidity. Medium and grippy tannins. Med+ finish.

If we were doing this by value it would be a 99. Spicy and snappy, like a barolo and a Beaujolais had a baby. Cherry, strawberry, some twigs and rusticity too. Cutting acidity. It bested all other Italian reds and whites at an in-store tasting, even including much fancier wines. Absolute steal at 28 bucks and you don't have to wait 100 years to drink it.

Rocks and stones. Sweet cherry and flowers. Fine tannins and wonderful texture. And the finish goes on and on. This wine will have a great evolution. Try again in a year or 2.

A very tasty, savoury red. There's Morello cherry fruit at its core. There are gravelly, flinty, smoky mineral things on the nose and in the mouth. It is nicely contained and direct, finishing with moderate chew and fine acid cut.
