Terrific wine -- every now and then NB comes through; at $8.50, this was a total winner -- and even at twice that: crisp, clean with fine mid-palate and lingering finish that seemed like syrah to me; drink up, only going downhill from now, but a fine, fine example of S. France roses: character, breeding, and finesse -- without the strawberry notes that mar, to me, so many roses
