Weinmanufaktur Fio Wein Riesling CabiSehrNett

A light, pleasant Kabinett-style Riesling, with some input from the delightful weirdos down at Niepoort. The nose has some pronounced fruit, nectarine in particular, with tangerine on the finish, but mostly it’s quite slate-driven, with loads of asphalt, musk, cut lemon, a not-unpleasant plastic character, and a light sweetness that balances the intense earthy flavors. Very food-friendly, and just a tasty Riesling.
