Very nice. Fully integrated acidity and well balanced on the palate. A bit short on length and not very complex but some days you just want to drink such easy to like stuff. Went very nicely with the oysters at lunch. Just bought a case of this and the 2015.

Frederick Wildman Burgundy Tasting (Hotel Monaco -- S.F.) : Some anise, somewhat insipid (?), apples. Decent drink, but not Meursault.

Frederick Wildman Burgundy Portfolio Tasting (Hotel Monaco, San Francisco) : Rich with toasty oak and overtly tropical fruit. Surprisingly blowsy for an '08.

Quite buttery and rich on the palate, with good acidity, good balance; fuller feeling than the Leflaive and Moreau wines, heavier oak signature too. 89-90.
