Dark red, medium body, cherry flavor and aroma, well balanced, nothing dramatic, but a very good wine that goes well with food. It was much better after 30 minutes of breathing.

Nice slightly tart cherry. Just right acidity. Good long finish on the front palate. Well balanced now, but a hint of softness beginning; I would not hold more than another year.

Took a few minutes to open, but then this pinot really shined. Nice bright fruit. Good body and lasting finish.

Really digging this as it opens up - dirty super-ripe cherries on the nose, a touch of stem, more dirt and flowers and tart cherry with a tart lingering finish. Lots going on in this.

Delightful with a flowery bouquet and significant fruit. Evolved over time to a smooth, easily drinkable wine.

Fruit forward. Strawberry, a touch earthy and very drinkable!

Ripe strawberry and red cherry notes on the nose. This is lush and fruit-driven, with ripe red berry and plummy flavors, enough acidity to keep it refreshing and lithe, and this carries the alcohol it's packing very well, with only the slightest hint of heat on the finish.

Strawbery nose, fruity and gulpable with a nice acidity. Very easy drinking with or without food.

You know, I'm dying to give this a couple more points but in reality, it's "Excellent" but not quite "Outstanding" and so, 89 pts. it gets! What it is, is a very, very solid bottle of wine. Though, at retail $36, it's not quite a QPR. Nice, slightly opaque, crimson ruby. Great balance of fruit-to-earth in the aromatics. Similar, up-front, full though not sappy...more herbal fruit on the front end. A really zippy, zippy...almost tangy (but not offensively so) acidity …

Was served this at a neighbors house - never had it before. Slightly feminine, with red fruits, terrific balance, good acidity and a nice medium finish. This wine had some depth, complexity and character. Not a fruit bomb, but rather elegant and very enjoyable. I suspect it will improve over the next couple of years.

I'm wondering if this one isn't worthy of another point or two? I definitely don't recall my first taste (at the winery ~5 months back) to have revealed such intriguing earth-dominant aromatics & flavors. Nor do I recall the great acidity that really bolstered the total package. This is a solid offering and proof that Erik & Josh are deserving of their growing reputation with this varietal. Bravo!

Sweet, lots of red fruit. Not a lot of structure.
