Best bottle I’ve had in a while. Improved a lot from the last bottle a year and a half ago. Hitting on all fronts. Only criticism is that the alcohol is more noticeable than I prefer. Everything else is phenomenal.

Garrison Creeks are always approachable, even fairly young. The younger they are the stronger the oak, this is due to the 100% new oak the winery uses. GC releases vintages that are 4 or so years out, so you're getting some age on release. I you don't like a heavier wood characteristics, wait a few years and it will integrate nicely.
