Really phenomenal for the price. Made in a pretty open, giving style but very elegant and balanced. Lemon curd, flaky pastry, some wet stone minerality or salinity on the palate. Plenty of acid but leaving room for a creamy texture too.

Tasted on day 2. Lively apple and pear fruit. Saline and mineral. Excellent cut and delineation. Good mid palate. Plenty of richness here balanced by zingy acidity. This is getting better with some age on it.

A bit of bruised taste profile i.e. oxidative. Not as much cut and verve as the more modern Oregon chards i.e. Walter Scott and White Walnut

Nice, unoaked Chardonnay. Easy going, but not that expressive.

Fantastic chardonnay for the money. Rich fruit held in beautiful balance by a solid acid profile. California-like fruit with Oregon structure. Apricot, butterscotch and floral notes evolve with time in the glass. Put this in a decanter just for fun.

Pretty light golden. Lovely delicate aromas, with peaches and some alcohol showing. Sexy palate of fresh baked brioche, honeycomb, lemongrass, white grapefruit, and lemon rind. 30+ second finish. This shows more alcohol than any other Oregon chardonnay I've tried, but it works.

Blind Chard and Pinot from around the World : pale gold color. Drink one glass blind over 45 minutes. Nose shows citrus, citrus fuzz, lighter nose, tight, minerals show later. thpalate also seems tight, light medium body, a little bit sharper, stone fruits, medium finish. this seem particularly young but was coming around towards the end when I didn't have much left. I do think that this will be better over time it is quite young. I thought this might …

Crisp stone fruit/yellow delicious apple augmented by minerality and subtle oak spiceness that evolves and builds nicely in the glass. Midpalate is moderately rich with a fine finish. Good value, might age 2-4 years but very good now.

Becoming more refined - not as big & rich as the last bottle. Floral and mineral notes, great balance.

Light golden. Very moderate oak play here. Medium bodied, plenty of heft and intensity to the mandarin orange flavors following citrus and sea breeze aromas. Finishes with good length and a strong echo of pineapple rind. Not quite the as delicious as his pinots but very fine; great QPR. Drink - 2015

2008 St. Innocent Tasting plus a few More (St. Paul) : A really nice wine with shell, lemon, sublte oak and chalk on the nose. The palate adds orange peel and a touch of vanilla. Good concentration and well balanced.

St. Innocent Private Tasting (Local Distributor) : Nose: Fresh pinneapple with some chalk. Palate: The pinneapple showing with some secondary melon character. Tingling acidity on front palate. Very clean linear finish with the slightest hint of oak. Exceptional Chard and one of the best from OR that I've had.

Pop-n-pour. Color is a very clear light golden yellow. The nose is very bright and lively, lemon zest and fresh-cut grass. The initial palate pops with the lemon zest, then it immediately opens up into a wonderful fleshy broad mid-palate with lush fruit and succulence. Not a lot of acidity, more plushness. The finish is long and clean. Great bottle.

From the St. Innocent wine club, and a welcome addition to the Spring 2010 shipment I will say. I have heard Mark Vlossak remark about reducing the amount of white wine he intends to make, and to increase the quality of the white wines he is making. Furthermore, Mark has said that he is going to make Chardonnay exclusively from Dijon Clones as these clones, in his opinion, make superior wine in Oregon. Right On Mark! This wine completely and …
