Ripe red cherries, some minerality and oak, lean and vibrant, but has a bit of a tannic bite. Decent, but might be better in a couple of more years.

Infanticide of course. Nice ripe cherry but right now it’s less about the fruit and more about the wood and alcoholic heat. I think it will settle down into something nice later. Score :89-91. Relative to expectations: + Day 2: so much better. Actually tastes more primary now! Just bury these guys for a few years. Even a villages wine needs time here. Score :91- 92. Relative to expectations: ++

Jadot Feb 2019 pre-sale tasting-Brief notes: Juicy berry, nice all around and very popular among tasters, though I preferred the 19’ Beaune Boucherottes. An easy drinker though a bit hot at this very young age. This was the Domaine Gagey version. 89-91
