Selbach-Oster, Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese 3*, Mosel

quick sample from another table, bottle had been open over a hour pale lemon color, poached pear and steel on the nose with petrol notes throughout, on the palate sunny and bright, beeswax, peach, pear, pure lemon note, petrol, good finish with hints of apricot, very attractive now but there are only hints of the nuances to come with more cellar time. **(*)+, 2029-2040

Honeyed pear, apricot, marzipan, great acidity. A baby. Delicious now and balanced but a long life ahead.

Once again, this reisling is a fantastic wine and great QPR at around $50/$55... not that I drink much reisling, but when I open a btl for my mother-in-law I always find this bright, sweet, mineral, lemony, etc etc... great stuff fo sho

Vibrant lemon in color with tinge of green. Nose features tropical fruits, underripe pear, white blossom, honeycomb, and petrol (which showed after some time in the glass). Palette the same, with great acidity and a touch of sweetness. Very nice, albeit very young.

Excellent. Frizzy electric acidity with a bit of sweetness

Nice nose of lime, vanilla, and petroleum. Palate is succulent starting with a mild bitterness followed by salty peach. Good stuff.

Honeycomb and tropical sweetness are balanced by an interesting minerality and good acidity. More open for business than the Prum of the same name but truly lovely.
