Lane Tanner Pinot Noir Block 4

nose - sour plum mouth - plum, followed by a sort of saltiness, tart, per doug iced tea, good acidity

Light style, very floral with strawberry and red fruit tones. Acidity makes this a very good food wine.

tasted blind nose - earthy, bramble mouth - light to mid bodied, elegant light red fruit, juicy with good acidity, nimble. my WOTN.

Fresh young Pinot, based on info is probably Bien Nacido Block 4 (but declassified to protect brand). Excellent varietal Pinot nose: red berries, sage, spice, mushroom, earth and floral. Medium-light bodied, fruit forward. High acid, light tannin. I'd drink now for freshness of fruit, plus it's a synthetic cork. Might be a bit acidic for some, but for me bridges gap between rose & red.
