Classic notes of Piedmont Nebbiolo, the dustiness took 30 minutes to blow off, followed by notes of anise, pepper and leather. Nice punch on the tongue but lacks the body that I love from Barolo. Considering the price point, a great buy as it still checks a majority of the boxes I come to love in a Barolo.

Cork came apart. Pop and poured. Tannins are totally integrated. Smooth and mellow would best describe this wine. Was the wotn for two in our group but I thought this was definitely on the downside of its drinking prime. Still, pleasant nose and nice, if somewhat subtle flavors. Ok finish. Definitely drink up if you have any.

Wow, really nice, aged Barolo. I picked this up on WTSO (which I imagine anyone else holding bottles did as well) for $60. I also ordered a 96 around the same time, but it was corked/stewed so I got a refund. So needless to say, I was pleasantly surprise to see how this held up.
