One glass at Table Mountain Inn in G, CO; not remarkable, seems its aroma was subdued. Exhibited softer tannins, perhaps from the inclusion of the Cab Franc. Basic. $9/glass.

Nice dark garnet color. Almost purple. Cedar, oak and flowers on the nose - nice. Taste was disappointing based on nose - too dry for my liking as I prefer at least "some" sweetness. Finish was strongly tannic and moderately acidic and quite short. I would not try this again. The search for a nice cabs under $20 continues.

Quite nice. 3% Cab Franc. A medium-bodied Cabernet with some nice character to it. Dark brick red color. Fruity nose. Blackberry, chocolate, and moderate oak flavors. Smooth medium-long finish. Nicely balanced throughout. Purchased this on sale at half-price – a very good value – but I’m not so convinced of the value here when priced at $16.
