Coravin'd in Chicago. bottles purchased direct from the tasting room at release. From prior notes: "Dark inky/red(ish) color. Nose of red fruits, herbs and spices. Dark/red fruits on the palate, baking spices, long and layered finish..." Picking up much more Christmas/baking spice, herbs this time. Black cherry liqueur, some sweetness in mid palate. At the tasting room in CdP, wonderful tasting capped off with this wine...this is the winemakers creation, from 110 year old vines, this one 100pct Grenache (i was reminded that Rayas is one of the few w/100pct Grenache).
