Cherry and spices on the nose, hints of clove. Peppery initial taste, with some fruit notes of blackberry or dark cherry. Dry mouthfeel, but not overwhelming. Finishes strong with lingering tannins. Taste wise- good wine that pairs well with food or alone. For the cost, amazing wine.
