Domaine Jamet Côtes du Rhône Blanc

Apricot, ripe melon, touch of baked pear & some florals on the nose. Fleshy palate is eventually offset by saline, zippy structure. Melon & ripe orchard/stone fruits along with a touch of green (almost seaweed-salad like, given the saline tone). Med+ body with enough nervy acid to uphold it.

Taste at Steak 48. Honeyed apples, light spice and some yellow floral components. Moderate richness on the palate. Very nice wine. First time with a Jamet blanc. Brings nice nuance for the price especially.

Pale gold. Fresh lemon, apricot, melon, some honey and toastiness. Gaining weight on palate with floral, lemonade, beeswax, tropical fruit notes, some saline minerality and sweet spices. Delicious already now. Way better than a typical Cote du Rhone blanc...
