100% Malbec, “Pied Franc” from 50-year-old, ungrafted vine, 12 months in 100% French oak barrels from Allier, France (of which 18% new oak).14.9% vol, winemaker from pomerol ...soft texture,silky weightless, red cherry,black cherry ,smells kinda bloody,iron,jeeze that's pure,with lots of fresh red raspberry juice and a crispness to the finish,the 14.9% isn't detectable,really finessed malbec maybe it's that pomerol winemaker showing us what he's capable of w this varietal,alc showing day 2 still interesting
