Domaine Chanson Meursault

A lot of reduction�so much that you can�t smell anything but it. A little lemon fruit on the palate. Will prob keep a while but will the reduction ever fade? Drink with food.

Auriol Wines tasting "The Judgement of Hartley Wintney", Hampshire UK, comparing Californian and French wines. Aged in oak casks for 14 months. Medium gold colour. Rich nose, buttery, coconut, hint of spice. Rich palate, syrupy. The palate is initially closed, with a slight bitterness, though it does open in the glass. My feeling is that this is still too young and needs a bit more time.
