Leda, Mas de Leda, Castilla y Leon

Un gran tempranillo. Fruta negra, mina de lapiz, tierra, ahumados sutiles, arcilla roja. Con potencia pero elegante. Desarrollado y equilibrado. Buena complejidad para un vino de ese precio. La boca es seca como corresponde pero bastante hecha a estas alturas. Algún toque herbaceo, amargos interesantes, fluido, sin excesos de volumen o pesadez. Una maravilla poder comprar estas cosas con años en botella. Otro tempranillo fuera de DO's (Rioja/Ribera) que da muchas más cosas que muchisimas casas.

Very nice. Nice aromatic fruity nose with a bit of earth and a lot of black pepper, blackcurrant and young leather. Young and fruity and approachable on the palate, very easy drinking but with enough structure and substance. Medium body. Medium-low acidity. Plum sweetness and cherries, blackcurrants on palate. Not black pepper on palate, not much heat. Little finish. Not much complexity. Should go well with light dishes, indian food, spicy food. Not heavy meat. Grade: B+.
