I bought this to use for a recipe - because you should always cook with wine you would drink. I enjoyed this with a variety of foods over a couple of weeks. Kept fine in the fridge. I'd keep this in rotation in the cellar.

For as widely available and inexpensive as this is, I'd say it isn't bad. I try to keep some on hand at all times and enjoy it with sushi. Also good warmed up.

"Gekkeikan (Laurel Crown) Draft Sake", 14% ABV. Pours clear and swirls thin like water. Served slightly chilled. Semi sweet and lightly creamy aroma of almonds (stole that from the rating below, but it’s spot on), vanilla, and some milky, taffy-like sugar scents. Light and crisp first on the lips, flavorless initially, then it brightens and gets a bit rough - slight burn on the lips and the back of the mouth.
