Pleasantly sweet. A gateway wine. Liquid candy. I love good blends and this is one of them: 55% cabernet sauvignon, 18% cabernet franc, 15% merlot, 7% syrah and 5% malbec. 13.5% alcohol. Yum! $13.99 at K&L. Given the price, I'm tempted to score higher points, but it's not a complex wine even with the various grape varietals, and although I don't overvalue complexity, I don't overvalue party hearty wines either.
