The nose was decently attractive with scents of jammy red fruit, vanilla, and an almost menthol note. On the palate, it had light to medium body and checked off most of the marks for a pinot noir. Good cherry fruit, tobacco, and cedar were apparent but not overly intense. Flabby, this wine definitely needed more acidity to round it out.

Very light. Lacks acid. Good fruit. Perfect sangria base. Would buy again to use as a base for a pitcher of sangria. Will also try with food to determine if that makes a difference.
