Nice color a nose that was slightly vegetal day one, but not as much on the second day. On the palate, dark fruits blackberry, tart red cherry, raisin and cranberries. This wine is dry and a bit acidic, what I’d call decent but not anything out of the ordinary or very special. 88-90 Points.

Smooth. Round. Textbook definition of sumptuous high quality Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The hillside fruit gives the mouth a slight tinge of tannin which has aged perfectly after eight years. Mighty fine for drinking alone or with beef, barbecue pork brisket, cheese, pasta, any food that needs the complement of red wine. Points are relative. The more I sip, the more I like this Lawer.
