Medium bodied, notes of pineapple and citrus on entry. Buttery in texture but not taste. Pleasant if not complex. Phenomenal QPR.

My last. Day 1 still had a strong vibe of mineral followed by rich mouth feel - cote bourgogne par contre. Next day showed it's age with yellow apple and less acidity. It was time. Nice half case over a few years.

pineapple, meyer lemon, white florals, peach, apples and toasted oak. Rather big on the palate in terms of fruit, but really enjoy that the oak is not excessive. Nice minerality and acidity give it some balance.

Nice, but it seems a touch past its optimum. Nice acidity, but the fruit is a little muted. Wished I'd opened it about a year ago.

This bottle was included in an auction lot with some white Burgundy. I had never heard of Lutum prior to and sort of forgot about it. As it turns out it is delicious. Maybe the best bottle of the six. There is oak present but not overt. What really struck me was the balance, a refreshing citrus acidity but also some stone fruit depth. There was a rosemary sage component right before the finish which was lengthy and satisfying. Very …

A healthy dose of oak on the nose but remains fresh and vibrant. Good acidity and length. Lemon and apples.

Pineapple, lemon zest, marshmallow, mineral and fresh fig. A medium finish, with a fine focus and vitality. Such an old world profile and texture, with some forward nuances and a fuller body. Drink now - 2025.

Nice a crisp. Aromatic zest nose. Lemons and lavender. Not at all buttery like a french Grand Cru chard. Has plenty of complexity and a long smooth, crisp, finish.

This round and waxy Chardonnay is drinking well right now, though it seems like the fruit doesn't quite match the overall weight of the wine. Light yellow in color, full in body, nose of lemon meringue pie and vanilla bean. Round, almost pillowy tastes of orange marmalade, quince, buttered toast, and almond extract, with a soft finish. 13% alcohol. Drink in next year or so. I wish the fruit flavors were more intense and layered, since the wine's diffuseness combines …

This bottle seemed a bit tired and beyond peak. 2 more left. Hope the last two are like the first one.

Nice touch of minerality in the fruit. Very strong effort but a little bit too much oak for me though.

Very light green/gold. Citrus, restrained but more oak than minerals, hint of bitter acid on finish for balance. Full bodied, smooth, firm and easy to drink. At peak. Drink over next 12 months.

Spicy, round rich Meuseault-esque. A nice one, on the big side (14.1% alc.). I had my druthers, I’d ask for a bit more acid in there for balance.

Silky and creamy - interesting body, too much oak for me.

A lively and charming Chardonnay that is drinking with a lot of energy right now, and will get better in a year or so. Light silver in color, medium in body, nose of lemon peel, salt water, and almond. Tastes of grapefruit, green apple, orange marmalade, and minerals, with an acidic and lingering finish. 14.42% alcohol. This falls on the leaner end of the spectrum of CA Chardonnays, but it was refreshing and interesting enough that I kept reaching for …
