Napa 2023 - The Sequel; 8/23/2023-8/28/2023 : Red fruit, black fruit, smoke, delicious. Kinda got lost behind everything else yet 94 might be conservative.

A good friend brought this bottle to book club dinner. With a little ox this is wide open. Very Bordeaux in style with full tertiary flavors in play. For most this will be past peak but for me a very pleasurable wine to follow up 2012 La Chapelle Hermitage.

Beautiful wine from A&B. Lots of depth and character even for a young wine. Dark brooding sexy fruit . Hint of licorice and cassis. Just a stunning wine that will hum in 5-7 years

During PNV week, at Coombsville AVA tasting. Dense purple color. Floral notes, black fruit on the nose. Blackberry, raspberry, pine cone. Some pencil/graphite on the finish. Should age nicely
