Not sure what to make of this wine. Have been putting off trying it based on Griggs' note, but way more drinkable than expected. Slight prickle blew off fairly quickly and no other faults to note beyond an utter lack of typicity. at 13.5 years this bottle has (d)evolved to straight cherry juice. Costiera Amalfitana; 5/16/2016-5/25/2016 : Carbonation (also mentioned in dbay's note), a major flaw. Otherwise, tilted toward the medicinal side of Taurasi, cough drops, tangy grape moving to plum, steeped tea leaves. I drank it, so you don't have to.
