A little bit warm, but give this a few more years and it will be even better (93).

My first 1er Cru White Burg. Paired alongside some homemade Lobster Bisque for New Years Eve. Beautiful pale gold, with a shy nose at first. After some time/air I got some tropical fruits, steel, and yellow flowers. On the palate, it had a soft, expansive mouthfeel. Very rounded with a small amount of integrated acidity, pineapple, lemon meringue, and a popcorn butter finish. Easy to drink, although quite rich. Loved it!

This is very good. Needs some air to open and intergrate. Palate tastes as chassagne initially. Lovely mineral and seamless length. Well balanced. Delicious.

Possible infanticide but was required as an X-mas crowd pleaser to go with rich creamy fish dish on Boxing Day. It was like a slightly citrus based version of Five Soldiers by Rustenberg (and that is a compliment).

Big fleshy white and tropical fruits with a nice touch of gunflint. A people-pleaser in a crowd that likes big California chard, but I'd prefer to see more acid for backbone. This is a nice bottle but mediocre QPR, considering the stellar white Bourgogne 15's I've had for half this price (LeMoine, Bernard Moreau, Sauzet to name a few).

Light straw color. Tropical, touch of French oak, touch of butter on the nose. Fresh citrus. Seamless on the palate. The finish is probably the best part here. This wine sits beautifully on the palate and unfolds slowly. That said there is a lack of verve that makes me think this is intended for early consumption.

Lys farge. Bra lengde. Liker godt intensiteten vinen viser etter 2-3 timer i åpen flaske. Fungert fint til sole meuniere, men ville passet enda bedre til gratinerte sjøkreps ol. Gir bra valuta for pengene.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL) : Tasting, brief note. Not much experience with the producer. Lush and fleshy with lots of orchard fruit aromas and flavors with some stone fruit hints. Good concentration. Slightly dominated by the overall ripeness. Best to enjoy young.

A bit young, this is a riper style and presents more as a Chassange than Puligny. Lovely mandarin and quince nose, there is a lack of mineral freshness but the oak and acidity are in perfect balance with the really defined and well-knitted fruit. Good stuff.

From 0.375 bottle. First slightly closed and even reductive. But opening up nicely with about 1 hour of air. Pretty and ripe notes of apricot, steel, a little bit of pepper, also some buttery notes, but mostly minerality but with an extra level of ripeness, probably due to the vintage. It's medium-full bodied, but has a nice vein of medium+ acidity adding tension. The alcohol is slightly recognizable on the finish. Good length. A pretty ripe, but interesting and pretty …
