2010 Keller Abst Erde was stupefyingly good. Intensely concentrated palate of mineral, crushed rocks, tangerine, mandarin orange, underripe pineapple, green fennel, and some sort of green cardamon spice with a hint of lemongrass broth on the nose. Somewhat viscous but surprisingly comes across more youthful than the more lush ‘15 Abst Erde (LOTB 96/100). Almost as good as ‘15 G-Max (LOTB 97+/100) as the concentration on this bad boy is unreal albeit at 15 years is still surprisingly youthful. 96+/100.

Served next to 2017 Abts E. The 2010 Abts E is still youthful and energetic. 2010 not usually my favourite vintage for dry Rieslings, as they are often very unbalanced, but this was nice.
