Willi Opitz Zweigelt Rotschenkel Reserve

Clear pale red color, very pale at the edges. Pretty thick "tears" running down the glass. An intense smell jumps out of the glass, notes of red berries, some fresh strawberry jam, red currants, some rhubarb stew. Cool climate fruit. Nice body, good sweetness and intensity of fruit on the palate. Only to bad it lacks a bit of acidity to back it up.
