Red fruit on the nose, spices, undergrowth, woodsmoke. Lively and lifted on the palate, very pure and precise, good fruit, lovely acidity, round tannins. Quite long and intense finish. Drink or keep. 91-93

From a glass at a wine bar. Vinyl and tire on the nose, but less stocky and savage than the Bachey-Legros by comparison. Gives up animale notes and fresh bright red fruits. Juicy and nice with a tannic bite that's pleasant.
