Beautiful, subtle yet powerful. Black cherry, subtle italiante bitterness, oregano & thyme.

Glorious intensity and acidity, some whole bunch fermentation? Structure and primary offset each other and lead the way. A serious wine, indeed! A Medium+ bodied wine with red fruit, aniseed, violet, iron & graphite primary, cedar secondary and forest floor, mushroom & leather tertiary flavours, High acid, Medium+ tannin and Medium (13.5%) alcohol. We rated this wine Very Good.

The first night this didn't reveal its glory, but on the second night, or came in to its own. Plummy in colour, I'm at a loss to describe the myriad of flavours, other than that I was overwhelmed by the difference between day 1 and day 2

Excellent savoury sangiovese. Fine grained tannins in harmonious balance with the rest of the mouthfeel. Long clean finish. Years of life ahead.
